Downtime / Recovery
This treatment involves little to no downtime, and patients often return to work immediately after workday treatment. There may be slight bleeding or redness at the injection sites, but these will resolve within a few hours.
Required Level of Skill
Medium: while dermal filler injections are commonplace, any time injections are placed deep into the tissues, it is best to visit a board-certified plastic surgery like Dr. Zuckerman to avoid complications with similarly located anatomical structures.
Level of Discomfort
None to low: Dr. Zuckerman applies a topical anesthetic (numbing cream) before treatment to eliminate patient discomfort.
Injections with Radiesse® and Voluma® are overwhelmingly safe, especially when performed by an expert injector such as Dr. Zuckerman. However, possible complications, although rare, include:
